Information we collect

• Account information you provide when signing up, such as your name and email address.
• Information about your child's learning profile that you or your child provide while using navr.io, such as grade level, school, and practice results.
• Basic usage information about how navr.io is used, to help us maintain and improve it.

How we use information

We use this information to operate navr.io, personalize your family's learning experience, and communicate with you about your account or the early access program. We do not sell your information for money.

Analytics and advertising

We use a small number of third-party tools on our public pages. We keep them off the parts of navr.io where your family's learning information lives.

• Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, on every page, to count page views and measure how quickly pages load. These do not use cookies and do not identify you.
• The Meta (Facebook) pixel, on our public marketing pages only — our home page, sign-in page, and these policy pages. It uses cookies and tells Meta that a browser visited those pages, so we can measure whether our ads reach parents who are interested. It is notpresent on your dashboard, your child's learning pages, practice sessions, or anywhere else you are signed in — so no information about your child is ever sent to Meta.

Some privacy laws treat sharing information with an advertising company like Meta as a “sale” or “share,” even though no money changes hands and even though this is limited to our public pages. If you would prefer we not do this, email us at david@navr.io and we will honor that. You can also block these tools with your browser's privacy settings or an ad blocker, and navr.io will work exactly the same.

Data storage

Information is stored using industry-standard hosting and database providers.

Your choices

You can request access to or correction of your information at any time by emailing us at david@navr.io. You can permanently delete your account and all of its data yourself at any time from our account deletion page, or by emailing us at the address above.

Children's privacy

navr.io is designed for parents to support their children's learning. A parent creates and controls the account, and the parent chooses what information about their child to provide — such as a first name, grade level, school, and practice results.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child without a parent. We do not show behavioral or interest-based advertising to children, and we do not sell children's information.

As the parent, you can review, correct, or delete your child's information at any time — from within your account, by deleting your account on our account deletion page, or by emailing david@navr.io. If you believe a child has provided us information without your involvement, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

navr.io is under active development, so this policy may be updated from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when it changes.
